What should I remember about financing?

. You can get expenses for courses and conferences covered up to a
certain amount.

Remember to check who’s responsible for the annual report to the
ministry (it might be yourself!). Overview of expenses +
documentation/invoices must be sent to the secretary otherwise you
will not get your fundings.
- At some
universities you can get a certain amount transferred from the anuum
fundings to your company account. This money may be spent on books,
computer, laboratory equipment, travels etc. Ask at the university or
better: a fellow IndustrialPhD-student. University might not always
be aware of the exact rules.
